| Proof is in the Puddin' It is obvious the diversity of this breed. The titles earned by Swanback dogs come easily and naturally. They have been bred for natural ability and temperament. That said, each dog has it's special accomplishments and successes. Not all dogs can be all things and that is true of any breed/dog. Find what that dog likes and take off with it! We all do what we like best, the best, so keep that in mind. The heavy muscle in our "shortie" breed certainly makes it quite the athlete. Despite rumors, they excel at jumping and turning. The proper loin gives them extra flexibility. This breed can go and go, so an active home (mentally and physically) is the best match. Click on each dog or their name for a personals page! |
| Did you know? The Jack Russell was bred to go into the den of a fox to flush it out for the hounds to chase? As a result, digging, barking and being quite bold comes naturally to the JRT! Now you know! Read about the English JRT's history at Shamrock Kennels! |
